Me and the kids decided to stay overnight in Long Beach last minute after a full day at the beach. Didn't know where to go this was the first place I turned into check the price and availability, and was pleasantly surprised by a reasonable rate and a lovely room. Was incredibly satisfied with my stay and looking to plan another trip to Long Beach this month, and we'll definitely be staying at Kay's Motel. Don't be fooled by the area it is located in... the remodeled rooms are clean and very nice and the people are very welcoming. Would recommend!!!
I personally enjoyed the many nights I stayed here with my significant other. The tv's are great, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly. Just wish this place was 2 stories! :] There's also a liquor store right down the street, walking distance. That's excellent. Thanks Kay's Motel!
This place, in the middle of what one might call a precarious neighborhood, was great! The proprietor was attentive and helpful and he's an avid Gardener that grows incredible plumerias! The price was right and most of all, the beds were comfortable and clean. Not many amenities don't count on little bottles of lotion or other goodies. But for stopping over, visiting family or hitting SCals attractions this is your place on a budget.
